Individual Therapy

Marko Mihailovic focuses on your goals and tailors his approach to your unique needs. He will educate you about psychological principles applicable to your goals and teach you useful skills to help you to deal not only with your current problems, but also problems you might encounter in the future.

Individual therapy can help you:

  • Regulate emotions such as anxiety, depression, etc.
  • Learn effective stress management strategies
  • Face difficult time in life (i.e. grieving process, trauma, etc.)
  • Improve self-esteem, quality of relationships and time management

Marko’s goal-driven approach uses a directive and active method of asking questions, offering constant feedback and guiding the session’s focus to produce results.

Marko developed his unique therapy style because he believes that the best way to help you is to use an integrative approach. His therapy style combines techniques from:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT)
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Mindfulness including meditative practices, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing and positive psychology

Individual counseling sessions are available in person and online (via HIPAA compliant online platform).
